Review

This review applies to version 2.3 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

DVD2one is a DVD mastering/copying solution for Windows. Its graphical user interface is made up of three different options. The first one allows you to simply create a full copy of a DVD movie. When you click on this option, the application will prompt you to select the VIDEO_TS folder, which is where the movie is located on a DVD. Unfortunately, the application will not auto-detect the folder for you and it won't let you do anything unless you locate that folder. This mode should allow you to simply insert a DVD movie and copy it straight up. The second mode allows you to locate a VIDEO_TS folder on the hard drive and burn it to a DVD disc or select several movie titles and join them together. Do not confuse movie titles with video files. The movie titles are chapters of a DVD movie. The third option deals with burning audio files onto a DVD. The program seemed to work fine with mp3 and wav files. I couldn't burn them, since my burner is not compatible with the application, which is why you should download the trial first before you buy the application. There are also tools for burning ISO files and for erasing DVDRW discs.
Advantages
  • Three features in one.
Disadvantages
  • It looks old.
  • No automatic disc detection.
  • Not compatible with some DVD burners.
